Double Triumph for Lancashire Logistics Company

Fagan & Whalley Ltd. (FWL) have recently enjoyed success at significant awards events in Manchester and London. First was winning the Information Technology Award at the CILT NW Region Awards for Education & Excellence that was held on 9th June at the prestigious Midland Hotel Manchester, where 300 freight, passenger and planning professionals were present. F&W’s successful entry profiled the use of telematics and other technologies to improve customer service and communications. This was further exemplified on Saturday 10th June, when the company collected the Palletforce Sales & Marketing award at the Westminster Bridge Park Plaza, London. The awards were attended by 450 company owners attending the Palletforce network annual awards event.

Stephen Fagan (Commercial Director) said “We are delighted to be recognised by winning these awards. It is testament to the whole team, from drivers to directors, that has made this success possible. It also shows the development, including our new Burnley Bridge warehousing facility, and progress that the company has made in recent times.”

More success may be in the offing for FWL who have been nominated as a finalist of the Business of the Year category of the 2017 Burnley Business Awards, taking place on Thursday 29th June. WVL has also been entered for the Information Management Award category of the CILT National Awards for Excellence, the winners will be announced on 19th October at the Lancaster London Hotel.
