The cost of the training to become a fully qualified LGV Driver with a C+E driving licence and Driver Certificate of Professional Competence, would normally cost over £3,000.

All successful students of F&W Professional Training are given the opportunity to apply for a position with the company. Currently 80% are offered a job

The training for each licence takes five full days.

Courses run 8am to 5pm daily. Test day may differ dependent on time of test.

To commence training to become a LGV Driver you need a full Class B driving licence

Your initial training will be in an eighteen ton rigid vehicle and if you show the appropriate proficiency you will then be offered further development in a 44 ton articulated tractor and trailer unit.

Yes but we only provide one to one training so you will not be sharing a vehicle with another student

Not necessarily as it can be a disadvantage but our DVSA accredited trainers are vastly experienced and are comfortable to train drivers with or without LGV experience

Yes there is a theoretical element to the LGV test just like the car test.
