Transport
With almost 100 years of experience in transporting goods on the roads of the UK, our service is built upon a dedication to our customers, which was introduced by our founders and is still shared by our team today.
Managing a substantial fleet of vehicles from our strategically located depots across Lancashire and the Midlands, our specialist team enjoy taking the time in getting to know each of our customers in an effort to understand their individual requirements, making it possible to provide cost-effective transport solutions for consignments of any size.

Distribution
With the ability to incorporate both palletised and non-palletised freight into our network, for full-load, part-load and groupage consignments, our distribution service is offered to clients in all sectors, UK-wide and across Europe.
Processed through our dedicated cross-dock facilities, all groupage freight is consolidated by our experienced transport planners and distributed using our in-house fleet, or via the Palletforce network, offering flexibility and cost-effective delivery solutions to clients with consignments of all sizes.
With a 250,000 sq.ft BRCGS-certified warehouse forming part of our infrastructure, we also have the capacity to offer comprehensive end-to-end logistics support, including storage and order fulfillment services.
BRCGS Warehousing
Incorporated into the Fagan & Whalley infrastructure in 2017, our purpose-built warehouse has since become one of the key pillars and core sites within our operation. We provide fully certified BRCGS warehousing, featuring both racked and non-racked storage, for clients in every sector, including for those in the food service industry.
Our Organic Storage certification provides our clients with the reassurance that our facilities meet the strict standards outlined by the Soil Association, enabling us to store and distribute organic goods for UK food manufacturers and retailers.
As a committed third-party logistics company, we also offer comprehensive stock control and order fulfilment solutions for our clients.
Maintenance
The Fagan & Whalley depots in Padiham and Coventry both house complete vehicle maintenance and repairs facilities, which have been incorporated into the F&W infrastructure in an effort to ensure all of our vehicles are fully compliant, operational, and safe to be on the road.
With dedicated teams of highly skilled, fully qualified mechanics and engineers, each vehicle in our fleet is regularly assessed and maintained to the highest standards.
We also offer in-depth vehicle diagnostics, MOT and servicing works, and both minor and major mechanical repairs for the vehicles within our fleet – a service which is also offered to external fleets.

Whether you’re looking to embark on a new career, or you’ve been behind the wheel for years, our professional driver training courses are detailed and thorough, providing you with all the knowledge you need to operate a specialist vehicle safely.
With a range of comprehensive training courses on offer, including Driver CPC, LGV certification, and forklift and warehouse training, we celebrate a pass rate of 90%, with 80% of delegates receiving offers of work upon completion.
